About the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34
The R34 is the final Skyline GT-R, built from 1999 to 2002 under the BNR34 chassis code and powered by the legendary 2.6-liter RB26DETT twin-turbo straight-six paired with the ATTESA E-TS Pro all-wheel-drive system and a six-speed Getrag gearbox. Factory-rated at the gentleman's-agreement 280 PS but making far more in reality, it added the multi-function display and the tightest chassis of the RB-era GT-Rs. It is the car that anchors the entire JDM import scene, and importers list every clean one they can source.
On eligibility, the R34 turns 25 by month of manufacture: 1999-2001 cars are importable now, while the last 2002 builds become legal in 2027 — so the build date, not the model year, decides whether a specific car can ship.
