About the Infiniti G37 Coupe
The G37 Coupe is the North American badge for the V36-generation Nissan Skyline coupe, sold here by Infiniti from 2008 to 2013 with the 3.7-liter VQ37VHR V6 and rear-wheel drive. In Japan the same car wears Skyline 370GT badges, which is why it turns up alongside true JDM imports — buyers cross-shop the domestic Skyline against the Infiniti twin. It is a genuine GT: strong naturally-aspirated V6, a well-sorted chassis, and an available six-speed manual on Sport trims.
Unlike the older cars on this site, the G37 needs no 25-year exemption — it was federalized and sold new in the US, so a US-market G37 can be bought and registered normally. Only if you specifically want the Japanese Skyline 370GT version does the 25-year import clock apply, and those cars are not yet old enough to qualify.
